July '22: Atamis becomes available across UK health sector

Atamis is delighted to confirm that the e-commerce system will be rolled out across all health sector organisations that wish to adopt it, following the announcement of funding from Crown Commercial Service (CCS). See our Blog for more details.

June '22: Atamis team expansion

The Atamis Support team has doubled in size since February 2021 and will expand by a further 30 per cent by the end of 2022. We are delighted that our high client retention rates and recent successes in new contract wins have resulted in such significant jobs creation. A warm welcome to our new colleagues in Support! September '21: CIPS Excellence in Procurement Awards

We were delighted that Atamis was a finalist in the CIPS Excellence in Procurement Awards 2021. Such an honour to be shortlisted alongside other prestigious projects in the "Best Response to Supply Chain Resilience in a Crisis - Public Good" category. May '21: Public Health England

Public Health England has successfully onboarded with the Health Family's end to end eCommercial system as part of Atamis's contract with DHSC. Imperial College Healthcare Trust has also taken up the system this month.

April '21: NHS Digital

This month, NHS Digital has become the latest body within the Department of Health and Social Care's family of organisations and Arm's Length bodies to take up the Atamis end to end eCommercial system. MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) has also come on board during April, along with London Ambulance Service Trust.

March '21: Care Quality Commission

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has onboarded the Atamis Health Family system this month, along with DHSC Managed Quarantine Services.

February '21: Visit Britain

VisitBritain has signed a two year contract with Atamis for the full suite of modules to be implemented over a phased approach. Initial focus will be on Contract Management, Tender Management and Pipeline Management, followed by Supplier Relationship Management and Spend Analysis. As the UK's national tourism agency – a non-departmental public body funded by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS), VisitBritain/VisitEngland plays a unique role in building England’s tourism product, raising Britain’s profile worldwide, increasing the volume and value of tourism exports, growing the UK’s valuable business events sector and developing England and Britain’s visitor economy.

December '20: British Citizen Awards

The Atamis team was delighted to be nominated for the 2020 British Citizen Award, and very proud that members of our support team were acknowledged for their hard work in supporting the NHS during the pandemic through their efforts on the Health Family eCommercial System implementation. December'20: Derbyshire Support & Facilities Services (DSFS)

Derbyshire Support & Facilities Services (DSFS) has come on board with the Atamis system with a two year contract, using Atamis Pipeline Management, Tender Management, Contract Management, Supplier Relationship Management, eSourcing and the Supplier Portal.

Established in March 2019, Derbyshire Support & Facilities Services is a company that’s 100% owned by Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust – helping to safeguard valuable and essential services, protect jobs for hundreds of staff – and enabling the Trust to focus on sustaining a full range of core clinical services for the 400,000 North Derbyshire people it serves.

October '20: A record month for Atamis implementations!

October has set a record for Atamis in terms of the number of client projects completed inside one month. We have seen the team finish the implementation and handover of systems for Trinity College Dublin (a two year contract for PM, CM and TM), Wokingham Borough Council (CM, SRM, PM and SA on a three year contract) and Ardonagh Group (a three year contract for CM, SRM and TM) as well as phase 2 of the Northern Ireland Water contract (all five modules on an initial two year contract). 

August '20: Home Office

The UK Government Home Office has renewed its contract with Atamis to provide Pipeline Management, Tender Management, Contract Management and Supplier Relationship Management for another 12 months.

August '20: DCMS

Atamis has won a two year contract with the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) for the Tender Management, Contract Management and Supplier Relationship Management modules of its system. This contract is the result of DCMS's requirement for an e-sourcing solution, capable of creating a DPS (Dynamic Purchasing System) system to support the BDUK (Building Digital UK) programme. BDUK came out of the Government publication in July 2018 of The Future Telecoms Infrastructure Review. which set clear, ambitious targets for the availability of full fibre and 5G networks. The aim is to see 15 million premises connected to full fibre by 2025, with coverage across all parts of the country by 2033 and that the majority of the population will have 5G coverage by 2027.

August '20: Welsh Government

The Welsh Government has renewed its National Procurement Service Wales (NPS) contract with Atamis to provide Spend Analysis, Supplier Relationship Management & Data Services, enabling it to analyse local, SME and framework spend within the Welsh Public Sector for another 12 months.

July '20: 7Force

7Force has signed a two year contract with Atamis for the Spend Analysis, Contract Management, Pipeline Management and Supplier Relationship Management modules of its system. 7Force is a strategic procurement collaboration between the following police forces: Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, Norfolk and Suffolk. The aim of 7F Procurement is to use the collaborative buying power of all seven forces to obtain better value for money from their contracts as well as enhancing inter-operability and efficiency across the police service. 

July '20: Teagasc

Atamis has been awarded a two year contract to provide Teagasc with the Tender Management, Contract Management, Supplier Relationship Management and Spend Analysis modules of its system. Teagasc – the Agriculture and Food Development Authority – is the Republic of Ireland's national body providing integrated research, advisory and training services to the agriculture and food industry and rural communities.

July '20: Cheshire East Council

 Cheshire East Council has awarded Atamis with a two year contract to provide four modules of its system: Pipeline Management, Contract Management, Supplier Relationship Management and Spend Analysis.

May '20: Department of Health and Social Care

As part of our work with the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) to implement a single eCommercial System across DHSC, its Arms Length Bodies and NHS trusts that wish to onboard, we have brought forward the activation of the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) module, which was originally planned for delivery in June. We are very proud to have supported DHSC by delivering the Supplier Relationship Management component two months ahead of schedule. Our hope is that this will be particularly timely and helpful for DHSC in this time of increased pressure on the NHS and Care sector during the COVID-19 crisis... Read more here.    

April '20: Companies House

Atamis has been awarded a four year contract to provide Companies House with the Tender Management, Contract Management and Supplier Relationship Management modules of its system. Companies House is the United Kingdom's registrar of companies and is an executive agency and trading fund of Her Majesty's Government. It falls under the remit of the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and is also a member of the Public Data Group. 

March '20: IfATE

The Institute for Apprenticeships & Technical Education (IfATE) has signed a two year contract for Atamis Spend Analysis, Contract Management and Supplier Relationship Management. IfATE is an executive non-departmental public body, sponsored by the Department for Education. IfATE oversees the development, approval and publication of apprenticeship standards and assessment plans as well as the occupational maps for T Levels and apprenticeships. February '20: Northern Ireland Water

Atamis has been awarded a two year contract by Northern Ireland Water to implement all five of its modules for the organisation. Northern Ireland Water is a Government Owned Company (GoCo), set up in April 2007 to provide the water and sewerage services in Northern Ireland. They supply 560 million litres of clean water a day for almost 1.8 million people as well as treating 320 million litres of waste water every day. 

January '20: Advisory and Conciliation and Arbitration Service (ACAS)

ACAS (Advisory and Conciliation and Arbitration Service) has commissioned Atamis to provide a Tender Management upgrade to add on to its existing Atamis system, having originally taken the Contract Management, Supplier Relationship Management and Pipeline Management modules back in March 2019. 

January '20: Ardonagh Group

Ardonagh Group has selected Atamis as its platform for Contract Management, Tender Management and Supplier Relationship Management on a three year contract. 

December '19: Department of Health and Social Care

Atamis is delighted to announce that we have been appointed by the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) to provide the wider Health Family and NHS with a Single eCommercial System. The system will support the creation and management of business cases, all procurement activity, and other related activities such as Savings Management, Contract Management and Supplier Relationship Management on a single platform. The following authorities from across the Health Family can gain access to the system for up to 6 years:

·        The Department of Health & Social Care Owned Companies - NHS Property Services; Community Health Partnerships; NHS Professionals; Supply Chain Coordination Ltd; Porton Bioparma Ltd; Genomics England Ltd;

November '19: Wokingham Borough Council

Wokingham Borough Council has awarded Atamis with a three year contract for four modules of the system- Pipeline Management, Spend Analysis, Contract Management and Supplier Relationship Management.

October '19: NHS Arden & Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit

Atamis has won an initial one year contract with NHS Arden & Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit to provide the orgnisation with a Spend Analysis system.

September '19: British Business Bank

British Business Bank has selected Atamis as its platform for Pipeline Management, Contract Management and Supplier Relationship Management on a three year contract.

August '19: Dwr Cymru/ Welsh Water

Dwr Cymru/ Welsh Water has selected Atamis and implementation is underway for four modules: Contract Management, Supplier Relationship Management, Pipeline Management and Spend Analysis.

June '19: NHS England

NHS England signs up as an Atamis client, taking the Pipeline Management module. The Atamis PM system will meet NHS England's need to implement a Business Case System configured to meet the approval requirements mandated by NHSE’s Standing Financial Instructions.

May '19: West Sussex County Council

WSCC have extended their Atamis contract management solution with pre-procurement approvals. Atamis PM is being used to intelligently route projects through the appropriate approval channels and automatically generate the contracts once approved. The solution went ilve in May.

April '19: Atamis moves to a new home!

Atamis moved into a new home in the heart of Cardiff city centre at the end of April. The  newly refurbished offices in South Gate House are conveniently located opposite Cardiff Central Rail Station, making it easier than ever for us to visit our clients all over the UK. Atamis had outgrown its old office, so it was important that its new home contained plenty of space for the business to expand as it continues on its high growth trajectory.

March '19: Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government

The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, which is the ministerial department formerly known as the Department for Communities and Local Government, has selected Atamis as its platform for Procurement Pipeline Planning and Contract Management.

March '19: ACAS

ACAS, the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service, has selected Atamis for Contract Management, Supplier Relationship Management and Pipeline Planning.

February '19: Target Group

Target Group, which provides software-driven servicing for loans, investments and insurance across the financial services sector, has become an Atamis client, using our Supplier Relationship Management and Contract Management systems.

January '19: We're moving!

In Spring 2019 Atamis will be moving to a larger office to accommodate our growth. The new office will be directly opposite Cardiff Central Station.

January '19: Brexit Ready

The UK government is preparing Public Sector Procurement operations for the event of a no-deal Brexit. In the event of the OJEU service becoming unavailable, the UK will migrate to a new UK e-notification service. As an existing registered OJEU e-sender, Atamis has confirmed its commitment to integrating with this new service in early 2019 as soon as technical details are made available.

December '18: Home Group

Home Group, one of the largest housing associations in the UK based covering the North East, has selected Atamis for Contract Management and Spend Analysis.

December '18: Cyber Essentials and ISO9001 Compliance

Atamis is fully up-to-date and compliant with Cyber Essentials Plus and with the quality procedures standard ISO9001. This is in addition, of course, to our ISO27001 certification!

October '18: HM Land Registry

HM Land Registry has selected Atamis as its platform for eSourcing, Contract Management and SRM for a 2 year period.

September '18: Home Office

Following its successful organisation-wide roll-out of the Pipeline Planning and Contract Management solution, the Home Office has renewed its contract with Atamis for a further two years. In addition to using the Atamis TM and CM modules, the Home Office will be using Atamis PM for workload management to forecast demands on procurement/commercial resources.

August '18: Welsh Government

The Welsh Government's National Procurement Service has renewed its contract with Atamis for the provision of services to analyse local, SME and framework spend within the Welsh Public Sector for a further two years.

Mar '18: Translink

Translink, Northern Ireland's main public transport provider, has contracted with Atamis for 4 years to implement a Contract Management System spanning the full strategic contract lifecycle. The solution, to be implemented in early 2018, will utilise all Atamis 3.0 modules and be rolled out to around 120 users across the organisation.

Feb '18: Attain

Health consultant, Attain, has selected Atamis TM for eSourcing and evaluation of its clients' contracts under a contract with Atamis strategic partner, SWL. Attain delivers in partnership with CCGs, NHS Trusts and Care Organisations to transform and improve the delivery of services. Attain's Commercial function provides strategic procurement in support of accountable care, commercial cost reduction through competition, spend analysis and efficient category/supply chain management and embedded procurement services. Atamis TM was selected for a 3 year term for its simple user interface and its ability to conduct complex technical evaluation models.

Feb '18: Newcastle City Council

Newcastle City Council has selected Atamis as its Commissioning and Contract Management solution. Already a user of Atamis SA through the NEPO contract, NCC is now implementing Atamis PM to record and authorise project requests, commissioning and pre-procurement activity. The council will also use Atamis CM/SRM to manage active contracts including the scheduling and capture of key performance indicators. 70 users from the Procurement and Commissioning Teams and other delegated officers will initially have access to the sytem, with a potential later wider roll-out across all departments.

Jan '18: Contracts Finder

Atamis has been approved to submit notices to CCS Contracts Finder. Users with licences for Atamis TM can now automatically generate Contracts Finder notices from Atamis procurement projects, validate and submit to Contracts Finder. The features supports early engagements as well as future, current and awarded opportunities. The Home Office has chosen to implement this solution with immediate effect to save re-keying of contract details.

Jan '18: Stevenage Borough Council

Stevenage Borough Council has implemented Atamis SA with Local Potential services.

Dec '17: Admiral Group eSourcing with Atamis TM

Admiral Group plc adopted Atamis CM for Contract Management in May 2017. In Oct 2017 an e-tendering project was started using the upgraded Summer '17 release of Atamis TM. A key requirement of the project was to accommodate the electronic capture around 130 criteria via a Due Diligence Questionnaire (DDQ) that relate to areas such as Information Security, GDPR, Access Control, Modern Slavery, Diversity and others.

The DDQ is a pre-requisite for suppliers to work with Admiral. Suppliers can now complete this questionnaire online through an Atamis Supplier Portal. Furthermore, their answers are automatically generated each time they submit an e-tender - saving the suppliers valuable time. It also benefits Admiral significantly in cutting administrative time, and also in ensuring compliance is achieved with risk management policy. The Atamis TM solution, including the Portal, was implemented in 6 weeks and is now being rolled out.

Nov '17: Home Office pilots Atamis PM

The UK Home Office has completed a pilot of Atamis PM to forecast workforce usage accurately for its future procurement activity. As with all organisations, the availability of resource is a risk that needs to be managed, and with such a high volume of activity being undertaken by The Home Office at the present time, this is more important than ever. Resource forecasting was previously undertaken off-line, but bringing FTE forecasts into Atamis PM means that they are now aliigned with contracts and procurements in Atamis SM & TM, so visibilty across the organisation is greatly improved.

Forecasts will also become more accurate as 'actual' time recorded is fed back into templates for project activity. Highly granular forecasts have been auto-generated for each resource grade and are also driven by the complexity of the project. The pilot has been approved and is being rolled out in the new year to all Home Office departments.

Suffolk County Council selects Atamis ProSpend. Suffolk is now the fourth County Council in the South East region to adopt ProSpend for spend analytics.

The London Borough of Hounslow has approved an order for ProSpend. They will be benefitting from monthly spend and contract data uploads.

Mar '15:

Unitary Authority, Plymouth City Council has selected ProSpend for the analysis of spend data for the last 4 financial years. Training was delivered on their finished system two weeks after the order was placed.

Feb '15:

South East County Councils renewing contracts: Three of the largest councils in the South East, Hertfordshire, Kent and West Sussex have all announced they are planning to renew their ProSpend contracts.

Dec '14:

The implementation of ProSpend to DEFRA and 14 associated ALBs was completed on schedule. One of the main achievements of the project was incorporating over 500 existing spend mapping rules from the different organisations in the network. The solution notably also supports a flexible category structure, where previously unused codings automatically extend the reporting taxonomy. DEFRA now use ProSpend for generating monthly central government reports.

20 Local Authorities in the Yorkshire region commit to ProSpend for the next 3 years. Under the direction of the YORprocure Programme Board, Yorkshire becomes the third regional implementation for Atamis. The solution was successfully piloted by Sheffield City Council and the full roll-out, starting with Barnsley, Calderdale, Leeds and North Yorkshire, is scheduled for Summer 2013. This project was sourced via the NEPO Framework.

ProSpend Regional, the benchmarking tool from Atamis, is officially launched. ProSpend Regional allows multiple organisations to share non-confidential spend data to identify common suppliers and collaboration opportunities within each category of goods and services.

The project which spans 3 years is to include spend classification at line item-level to ProClass 10.2 and to UNSPSC, automated monthly data updates, contract integration / compliance reporting, geographical supply base analysis, invoice transaction analysis, spend transparency and comprehensive regional spend comparison to support collaboration. The project will be divided into 3 'Waves' of authorities who will be introduced to the spend analysis toolset - to be known as ProSpend - between June and November 2011.
