News in brief...

Dec '17: Admiral Group eSourcing with Atamis TM

Admiral Group plc adopted Atamis CM for Contract Management in May 2017. In Oct 2017 an e-tendering project was started using the upgraded Summer '17 release of Atamis TM. A key requirement of the project was to accommodate the electronic capture around 130 criteria via a Due Diligence Questionnaire (DDQ) that relatie to areas such as Information Security, GDPR, Access Control, Modern Slavery, Diversity and others.

The DDQ is a pre-requisite for suppliers to work with Admiral. Suppliers can now complete this questionnaire online through an Atamis Supplier Portal. Furthermore, their answers are automatically generated each time they submit an e-tender - saving the suppliers valuable time. It also benefits Admiral significantly in cutting administrative time, and also in ensuring compliance is achieved with risk management policy. The Atamis TM solution, including the Portal, was implemented in 6 weeks and is now being rolled out.

Nov '17: Home Office pilots Atamis PM

Home Office has completed a pilot of Atamis PM to forecast workforce usage accurately for its future procurement activity. As with all organisations, the availability of resource is a risk that needs to be managed, and with such a high volume of activity being undertaken by The Home Office at the present time, this is more important than ever. Resource forecasting was previously undertaken off-line, but bringing FTE forecasts into Atamis PM means that they are now aliigned with contracts and procurements in Atamis SM & TM, so visibilty across the organisation is greatly improved.

Forecasts will also become more accurate as 'actual' time recorded is fed back into templates for project activity. Highly granular forecasts have been auto-generated for each resource grade and are also driven by the complexity of the project. The pilot has been approved and is being rolled out in the new year to all Home Office departments.
